We adopted our dog, Scrappy, in July 2007 from the Kansas Humane Society.  Just a few days after we brought her home, she started showing signs of illness.  We took her immediately to Northrock Animal Hospital where she was seen by Dr. Emily Hinkel.  Dr. Hinkel gave Scrappy some antibiotics and Scrappy stayed at the hospital overnight.  The illness returned a few weeks later, even worse than the time before, and she was again hospitalized for several days.  It was touch and go for awhile, and frankly we weren't sure Scraps was going to make it.  As any pet owner knows, Scrappy meant everything to us even though we had only had her in our lives for two weeks.   The one thing that knew I could be confident about, however, was the care Scrappy was receiving.  Throughout both of Scrappy's stays at Northrock, Dr. Hinkel called us regularly to update us about her condition.  We were welcome to come and visit Scrappy at anytime during office hours.  When our pet insurance claim was denied, Dr. Hinkel even took the time to write a letter to the insurance company to help us get our money.  It's four years later, and though we've moved to another part of town, we would never consider going to another animal clinic.  I always tell my husband that if Northrock would offer human medical care, I would be the first patient in line!

We have been customers of the Northrock Clinic since the beginning when it was located on Rock Road.  Through out the years the caring for our pets and competence and professionalism of the doctors and staff have been exceptional.  We moved out of Wichita 16 years ago and still drive to Northrock for our pet's care.  We wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

We recommend Dr. Weidler to all of our family and friends.  He is always patient with our questions as first-time dog owners and has great rapport with our Molly.  Dr. Weidler and the staff at Northrock are fantastic and we're lucky to have found a clinic that cares so much about our pet!

Thank you so much for taking care of Zabi this week while she stayed there with you.  We especially want to thank Dr. Kelly and Dr. Weidler for their swift treatment and for helping us understand what was going on with our sick puppy.  We really appreciate the care everyone has shown us and Zabi over the past few weeks and are truely thankful to all of you.

At 16 years of age, my lab, Coffee's health was on the decline.  Dr. Weidler did a full work-up for him, addressed his dental needs and has worked with us to find a care regimen that has vastly improved Coffee's quality of life.  Coffee is active again and most importantly, happy, thanks to Dr. Weidler's thorough and conscientious care.

My first visit to Northrock Animal Hospital was early in 2010 when my cat of over 14 years became ill---the staff was INCREDIBLE!!! Very patient with me as they took my pet's history and very kind with him---while my cat was too ill to come back home with me, the kindness and time that every member of the staff showed me gave me a sense that they truly cared for every pet and every "pet parent"!!! I soon had a new cat and there was no doubt in my mind that I would return to Northrock---they have taken great care of us--from kitty's first visit after I adopted her to her most recent check-up and vaccinations--- If you are looking for a vet for your new pet or wish to change to a vet where every member of the staff is committed to caring for ALL members of the pet family---this is the place to come!!!! THANK YOU to each member of the staff at Northrock Hospital for Animals in Wichita, Kansas!!!!
