Dr. Arens earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, he completed a small-animal rotating internship on Long Island, NY, where he refined his skills in diagnostics, surgery, and complex case management. He has been practicing in the Wichita area since 2013.
With special interests in surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging, Dr. Arens is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate care for every patient. He values strong communication with clients and is committed to developing individualized treatment plans to ensure pets receive the best possible care.
Outside of work, Dr. Arens enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He loves being outdoors and can often be found playing pickleball, disc golf, or practicing archery. His home is also full of animal life, including two dogs, several axolotls, a hedgehog, a tortoise, and two ferrets.
